Holding time
How long a position stays open, from entry to close.
Holding time varies a great deal by strategy, and by itself is neither good nor bad. What matters more is the difference between how long winning trades are held and how long losing trades are held.
Winners closed quickly and losers held far longer is a common sign that losses are not being cut, but ridden in the hope the market comes back; the risk from those open losers does not show up in the closed-trade statistics until they finally close.
