Monetio is built so that the files you analyze never leave your browser. This page says what little we do send and store, and why.
Your report files
A file you open in Monetio is read and analyzed inside your browser, in a background worker. It is not uploaded to us to be analyzed, and we never see it.
A file dropped on the home page is kept in your browser’s own storage (IndexedDB) for the moment it takes the app to open, and is deleted from there as soon as the app reads it, or ignored and deleted if it is more than a few minutes old.
If you create an account
Your first report needs no account; this browser remembers that it was used, and that note never leaves your device. If you sign in, we store your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and picture Google shares with us. Sign-in links are sent by email through our email provider.
While you are signed in, a session cookie keeps you signed in. With each session we keep the IP address and browser description it was created from, to protect the account and to limit abuse.
If we give you free Pro as a gift, we keep your email address with the gift, its dates and when we sent you its three emails: the gift, a reminder before it ends and a thank-you after. If you never create an account, the address is deleted a year after the gift ends.
The newsletter is off unless you tick its box when you sign up or turn it on in Account. We then keep that choice, when you made it and which wording you agreed to. It is occasional email about new Monetio features and articles, never trading advice, and carries no open or click tracking. Untick it in Account to stop; deleting the account deletes the choice too.
Market data (Plus and Pro)
On a Plus or Pro account, Monetio checks your trades against market prices. For that, your browser sends trade times, symbols, prices and position sizes, never the file itself or any name from it.
We use them for that one request and answer with the result. They are not stored or logged. A free account sends nothing.
Reports you save
A Plus account can save up to 100 reports to its library, and a Pro account up to 500. Saving uploads the analyzed report: the trades and the results, compressed. The account name and the broker stated in the file are removed before it leaves your browser. A saved report stays until you delete it or your account.
Written summaries
When you ask for a written summary of a saved report, your browser sends its numbers: the grade, the key figures, the codes of the findings and the names of the most traded symbols. No file, no trade list, no account or broker name and no text from the file is sent. A language model writes the summary from those numbers, and we keep the text with the report, together with a question you asked, until you delete the report or your account.
Cookies and browser storage
Everything Monetio keeps in your browser is needed for something you asked for: staying signed in, a setting you chose, a report you keep. None of it is used for advertising or analytics, so there is no cookie banner. The browser items below never leave your device, except the two cookies, which go only to monetio.ai.

What we do not do
The site loads no analytics or advertising scripts. We do not sell data, and we do not share reports with brokers, signal sellers or EA vendors.
Who processes data for us
Cloudflare hosts the site, the database and the storage for saved reports, and forwards mail sent to our monetio.ai addresses to our inbox.
Resend sends the sign-in links, the links that confirm a change of email and the gift emails, and delivers messages sent through the contact form, with any file attached, to our inbox; the form keeps no copy.
Google takes part only if you choose Google sign-in.
Sentry receives reports of errors on our server: the kind of error, the page and a request number. Never a file, a cookie or an email address.
Written summaries are produced by Cloudflare Workers AI or by Anthropic, which receive only the numbers described above.
Paid plans are sold through a reseller that acts as merchant of record: it takes the payment, charges the tax and sends the invoice, and its name is shown at checkout and on the invoice. We never see your card details.
Backblaze keeps a nightly backup of each account in the EU, encrypted so that only we can read it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Deleting your account deletes your saved reports with it, and our backup copies of it are gone within 90 days. If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
