Equity curve fit

How closely an account's equity curve follows a straight line, measured with an R-squared value.

A straight, steadily rising equity curve is what marketing wants and what real trading rarely delivers, since markets move in bursts, not smooth ramps. An unusually high fit to a straight line, together with a high win rate and a low drawdown, is a combination that live trading does not normally produce together.

This does not prove a record is fabricated; it says the combination is outside what ordinary trading produces, and it should be read as unverified until a broker-checked record confirms it.
