Basket close
Several open positions closed within seconds of each other, so their combined result is decided at one moment.
When positions close as a basket, the strategy’s per-trade statistics understate what actually happened: many individual trades are really one decision, taken all at once, usually to lock in a grid or hedge that has moved back into profit.
A large share of net profit coming from basket closes means the record’s real sample size, in terms of independent decisions, is smaller than the trade count suggests.
