Monetio vs QuantAnalyzer
QuantAnalyzer is a Windows desktop application built for strategy developers who already have MetaTrader, TradeStation, NinjaTrader and similar backtest exports, plus Myfxbook and FxBlue CSV. It runs a wide set of statistical tests on a strategy, without judging a signal you might subscribe to rather than a system you built.
What QuantAnalyzer is
A desktop statistics suite: 15 or more supported formats, robustness tests, walk-forward slices and what-if cost changes, aimed at people developing or evaluating their own trading systems. It is bundled with StrategyQuant's other tools and runs on Windows only, with a limited free tier.
| Feature | QuantAnalyzer | Monetio |
|---|---|---|
| Runs in | Windows desktop application | Browser, any OS, nothing installed |
| MQL5 Signals CSV import | No | Yes |
| Deposit-masked drawdown | Partial: statements only, not separated as a headline number | Time-weighted return alongside balance drawdown on every report |
| Grid or martingale depth | Not a built-in check | Per-level trade count and P&L, with a depth flag |
| A plain-language verdict with reasons | No: statistics and charts, no graded verdict | Yes, calibrated against a signal-history corpus |
| Price | Limited free tier; bundled around USD 349 | Free tier plus a paid plan under USD 20 a month |
Where QuantAnalyzer is the better choice
For a developer testing many strategy variants and wanting deep statistical robustness tools on a desktop, with no browser upload step, QuantAnalyzer's format coverage and statistical depth are broader than a single verdict tool needs to be. If a strategy is your own and you want to explore it in many directions at once, a desktop tool built for that job is the better fit.
