Monetio vs the free browser backtest analyzers

A handful of free, sign-up-free browser tools read an MT4 or MT5 Strategy Tester HTML file and show a KPI dashboard: equity, drawdown, monthly returns, Monte Carlo resampling. They are a genuinely useful, genuinely free commodity floor, and Monetio is built to sit above it, not to replace what they already do well.

What free browser analyzers is

Client-side dashboards for a single backtest file: equity and drawdown charts, monthly P&L, streaks, and in some cases Monte Carlo shuffling or a simple martingale flag (one tool's detector, quoted from its own page, "scans the deals table for classic grid patterns — three or more same-direction entries with non-decreasing volume while the basket is underwater"). None of them read a live signal or account history export, and none publish a deposit-adjusted equity curve.

Where free browser analyzers is the better choice

For a fast first read of a single backtest file, with no upload cap and nothing to sign up for, the free analyzers are quick and require nothing beyond the file itself. Some, like Profectus AI, add a useful prop-firm challenge replay that Monetio does not build.
